But my computer is at least 1,000 times more valuable in what it can do for me, than it was in 1983. Probably even more.
Seems like a pretty good tradeoff to me.
I'll take a slow autocomplete box of all the world's knowledge over a lightning-fast lookup of my local files in a single directory any day.
