Right. My point is that the Verge reported on something legitimate, unlike what the linked article seems to be implying.

I wonder if they were bringing the Lululemon exec in for another c suite position, then the story leaked (or was leaked on purpose to depose her) and they already had the right person coming in already. I could see that fitting either narrative not that it really matters.

The linked article is saying the timeline is off; the board must have been searching for a replacement for months, long before the Verge article.

The board also presumably knows about the incidents since long before the Verge article.

This is this year. Not last year.

As the OP says, the timing of the PR scandal coincides too conveniently with their internal plans to replace her.

The point is exactly the thing you skipped over — the replacement was already found.

The incidents happened a while ago, which gave time for the replacement to be found.
