All the article says is that they subscribed to other people's public calendars. I do the same with many of my colleagues, am I harrassing them?

Is it also pure coincidence that these union organizers just happened to be fired for harrassment soon after Google hired a union busting company?

At least around here, it's very common to keep union activity outside work e-mail, so management can't simply read it all. I would not be surprised if "externally" means "a coworkers private e-mail address".
