Ask HN: What's HN's commenter to reader ratio?

As the title says, I'm curious what the stats are for the amount of readers there are compared to the amount of comments and also what the standard distribution for the amount of comments per commenter is. The reason I'm curious about this is I was wondering what's the amount of contribution that supports HN, and how this compares to other social platforms.

Is there any place that has such data? Are there any theoretical equations for this?
