I guess maybe when things were still printed on paper. The whole growth of Nokia was our saviour for the dying paper industry.

Don’t forget that Nokia was originally a paper company.

Not sure if that's completely true or that it was just a commonplace to name your company according to the area/city youre in.

Nokia was originally a pulp mill (1870s), which produced input to make paper. And it also produced paper in the 1950s and 60s.
