Ask HN: Favorite Oral History Transcripts from the Computer History Museum?
I've spent many hours now reading through some of these extraordinary interviews with computer industry luminaries. I especially love the ones about the very early days, when everyone knew each other and there was a huge amount of excitement.
But there are several hundred of them, and many of them are of people who I haven't heard of before. Does anyone have suggestions for ones that are particularly good?
So far, my favorites have been: Marvin Minsky, Charles Simonyi, Danny Hillis, John McCarthy, David Cutler, Cleve Moler, Don Knuth, and Edward Feigenbaum.
