That looks cool. Always wanted to know though, do you benefit something from such websites? Just interested, thanks!

As the owner of a couple vanity domains for no useful purpose, no, I don’t “benefit” from it. In fact, each domain costs me a small amount of money. But the amusement I get from them makes it worth it. :)

As someone also with a few dozen vanity domains. The benefit is learning how to manage multiple web properties with minimum resources. It costs me about $500/year in domain registration alone. I would consider it my hobby as well, but it makes us a shoe-in candidate for a lot of technical positions because we dont need to tell we can simply show.

Why don't you put them on a tld that'll give you cheap domains?

I’ve been doing this for 20 years, all discounts found and baked in. FWIW all of my demo sites since last summer use .xyz before they become full fledged vanity domains

it's a net loss of 10€ a year but makes me happy which certainly improves my cardiovascular health :p
