I don't think Car Talk was canceled. Didn't they stop doing the show after one of the brothers passed away?

They stopped with new episodes a few years before that. I think the brothers just got done with it, I’m sure everyone else would have loved to hear new episodes.

They started re running in the mid 2000s, not very much new content even that early.

They could have also ended it when he got his cancer diagnosis.

Yes, I loved Car Talk.

I still get a kick out of hearing the brothers talking on "Cars", the animated kid's show.

I listen to Morning Edition and All Things Considered almost every weekday. I occasionally pop in on Fresh Air. Race comes up occasionally but it's not common at all IMO.

I'm not sure, maybe you're joking? Car Talk was probably canceled because of Tom's death.

Did we read a different article? This doesn't seem to be about racism at all.
