While this one does have a date right near where I'd expect it (somewhere near the article title), I do agree with your point in general.

For me that's a good indication that the site is some kind of content farm, probably with articles written by people who aren't credited by name, and the whole thing is a waste of time.

I usually use the element inspector and search for "date". Usually would have the original publishing dates and updated dates.

Sounds like an extension some folk would like.

Ah, so it's seven months old already.

Version numbers and system used is also important, that's rare too.

Not just technical articles, any article in general
