Luckily the floods washed away some of the drop bears, so the city is actually safer than it was before.
My sister manages mosquito control in Victoria. She says the post-flood mosquito management in QLD is going to be quite a challenge. However, she also claims that mosquito management is going to be nowhere near as big of a project as the upcoming bunyip control efforts.
My knowledge of Australian folklore improved after looking up "bunyip" on wikipedia. Thanks. ;)
yeah mozzies are a bigger risk to health than snakes or sharks.
A brown snake in the water will climb in a house to take refuge, not to attack. they're just trying to get out of the water, just like cockroaches piling up on traffic lights.
All of the snakes alive must be on the trees or in the houses by now.
I thought i saw a snake while i was cleaning out houses on haig rd. in milton, but it turned out to be a very confused fish!
Hey I was there. Fantastic work mate. Good on you.
