Can we stop these threads? They are not productive, we have all chosen our sides on this particular "metoo" vs. "cancel culture" debate and nobody is having their minds changed.
Especially people who may not otherwise have known.
Silencing, censoring, the discussion only allows it to keep getting worse, instead of potentially less worse.
