So we shouldn't investigate probable crimes? Why investigate any president when they'll just be out of office after 8 years max (assuming no VP ascension)?
If the Dems were confident in their position, they'd beat him at the polls and if there really was a crime, he'd be prosecuted afterwards. This attempt at impeachment will fail, it's just for show.
