That’s really not important. Redirecting anyone to malicious sites should be an immediate red line.

And going online without an ad blocker is simply irresponsible.

Also posting such a link to HN is simply irresponsible.

People on HN should know better. Your average person though won’t.

I'm an average person on HN. I specifically don't use ad blockers. You might need to adjust some of your assumptions.

I don't think mobile FF has an ad blocker - at least not on iOS

That's because Apple only allows rebranded versions of Safari on iOS. Firefox for Android supports ad blockers.

Although iOS Safari does have support for ad-blockers built in, so most iOS users can easily get an ad-free web.
