Ask HN: How do you serve dynamic content across multiple geographies?
I have an app that serves customers across the world but I am starting to see that performance in certain regions is becoming unacceptable. This is largely due to latency by reason of distance from the server. A CDN will not work because the content is dynamic. I am thinking of some employing some sort of regional load balancer to route traffic to different instances of the app on local servers but (a) it's starting to feel really complex (b) I haven't seen any load balancers that route based on traffic geographic origin (c) I'm not sure how to keep all the local instances in sync
I am curious to learn how other people are setting up infrastructure to serve dynamic content across multiple geographies
