It has taken me a long time to realize that "dumb code" is the best.
Dumb code is easy to read.
Dumb code is concise and to the point, not attempting to address theoretical problems (necessarily).
Dumb code does not overthink the problem.
Dumb code helps you sympathize with the machine.
Dumb code has no weird blackbox behavior.
