Launch HN: Defimeter – gas costs calculator for DeFi smart contracts

Hey HN, wanted to launch here the application I built to track the gas consumption of DeFi smart contracts. If you use any of the major decentralized finance protocols, it'll help to measure the fixed cost of your operations and spot differences in efficiency between different smart contracts. For example a ERC20 token-to-token swap in Uniswap currently costs about 93,000 gas units vs. >500,000 using Kyber.

The tool currently cover a few exchanges (Uniswap, Kyber & Bancor) and lending protocols (Compound & dYdX) but the idea is to add more - if you have suggestion pls let me know.

I built this for myself and hope you’d find it useful too. If you decide to give it a spin and have any feedback I’d love to hear your thoughts!
