Exactly. This is a gesture move for constituents by the House, knowing that it will be shot down and they don't actually have to back it up. Especially considering that cities with high cost of living like LA aren't getting to $15/hr until next year.

Nah. Why didn't the Dem's do this back when they had the House, Senate and White House?
I'll tell you why. They didn't want to get blamed for the fallout from it.
