Ask HN: Is Redux Dying?

Last time I checked, React has now introduced React Hooks since 16.8, but the way in which the wind is going, Redux looks like it is no longer needed in the future for state management.

With a new React project I am starting I cannot seem to choose which one to go with.

Advice?
