Automated Test Case Generation

I'd be interested in testing new (C) code against test cases created for the old code, to see if they behaves the same. It would be a way to use old code as the test case for new code, and provide insight about the differences.

Ideally test cases parameterize code and be interesting metrics (on simpler code). I presume a diff on the test cases generated could prove insightful.
