Ask HN: Best books for event-based / message-oriented system architecture?

I need to get up to speed on general principles regarding making your software modular and robust to change. One problem is that a lot of the old-time literature (which I've read to some extent) was written before the recent trend towards message oriented and event-based architectures. Thus, I'm looking for good resources that cover these aspects too.
