Ugh. That is really sloppy, it also conditions people to ignore such errors in the future which will make it much easier to get them to believe all kinds of crap.

Yeah, amazing how they manage to broadcast a wrong alternative emergency number to millions of people.

I would say a message template for the most common alerts would not be an excessive luxury.
