Ask HN: What tools do you install on a fresh Linux system?
I ordered the new Raspberry Pi 4B and was wondering what tools does everyone else install first on their fresh linux installs (even non specific to raspberry Pi)?
bit random question to be honest. what tools one needs/wants depends on what you need/want to do. so what do you need or want to do? that way people could perhaps suggest tools which might be useful to your case.
dev work: vim, git, build-essential
rpi specific: pi-hole, Shairport
