Ask HN: Good book for a machine learning book club?

My company has a lot of people interested in machine learning - plenty of engineers would like to do projects involving it, and plenty of less technical folks are interested in how they could apply it to future projects. Are there any good books that would bridge the technical/non-technical gap or be engaging for less experienced folks while still useful to those who have previous experience?
