Two problems: I can't afford a 1967 size small home anywhere near me, nor can I also support 3 kids and a non working spouse.

Funny you added 'healthy living' at the end. It makes you wonder why people would live beyond their means to be unhealthy.

Because people are terrible at accounting for the future. Shows up in diet, exercise, personal finance, and probably a bunch of other places.

I have several Dutch friends who work four-day and don't mind a lower salary in exchange for healthy living.
