Ask HN: How do you handle female bullies at your workplace?

What are some of the ways you have or you currently handle female bullies at work. Whether they are seniors or peers, female bullies at workplaces tend to be more manipulative or confrontational or both. Also, they use the fake harassment complaint card more often. What are some of the ways HN members (both male and female) who have been bullied by females at workplaces have overcome this?

If I have a choice I don't deal with them.

I call them unreasonable people not bullies because they never violated me when I did what they wanted me to do. They were just unreasonable and willing to go to any extent to get me to the things they want.

What I did see is that, the people you call bullies climbed corporate ladder much faster.

Or if I've no choice, I do what they say as they say provided they don't ask me to do illegal stuff, I keep notes of whatever they told me so that in future if someone builds a case against me I am able to see the big picture with accurate timeline of events. And if being asked to do illegal things, I resign and find a new job.

I better sell ice cream than do illegal work for others and end up in prison.

A buddy of mine worked with a woman who always bullied people into doing her work. She worked there for quite a lot of years, and always pulled the racial card when confronted. She pulled every trick in the book to avoid reprimand of any kind.

Eventually everyone realized how counter-productive she was, so they moved her to a site where she had to work completely alone. Nobody to bully, and nobody to do her work for her.

She lasted 2 weeks before quitting.

I ask for a spanking or oral reprimand...
