Ask HN: # of Followers = function of avatar size?

I'm going to toss up a wild postulate. Over the entire Twitter ecosystem, my observation is that the larger your profile pic is (full size e.g. click on square avatar to view), the larger # of followers you have.

Anyone want to prove/disprove this?
