Ask HN: What's a good traveling bucket list for younger programmers?
Pretty much what the title says.
I'm interested in visiting places of historic significance to computer programming in particular.
I've been to a few museums showcasing old computer hardware. However, in my opinion, they omit the most interesting aspect of those computers: how they were actually used, and more specifically, how they were programmed (in a broader sense of the word).
