I have several friends that make $10+ per downvote on HN. So my guess is that the fastest way to get downvotes is to write something that someone with a marketing budget wants to remove.

Are you for real? How are they told what to downvote?

Your post is only two hours old, and there are multiple responses on other comments here explaining the connection: Intel has never caught up to Qualcomm's performance in this field; their only significant customer for their 5G modem chips is Apple; they were Intel's customer primarily because of their litigation with Qualcomm; that litigation has now ended with Apple paying Qualcomm and agreeing to use their chips.

You could have taken a few minutes to scan comments yourself and find this information. Or is not classy of me to point that out?
