Paypal Discrimination Ignored: Open Letter to Paypal
We have googled similar cases and we’ve observed the following oppressive pattern:
STEP 1: PayPal limits an account for vague reasons
STEP 2: PayPal then demands documents (audits, identification, proof of address, business partners, SEO vendor) it already verified and asked for, which is a violation of a person’s safety, data protection rights, and dignity as well as the vendors that we conduct business with.
STEP 3: Aforementioned documents are swiftly supplied by the victim under duress
STEP 4: PayPal terminates the account despite the victim meeting all of PayPal’s demands.
These are Gestapo tactics: make the victim believe they can please their tormentor by complying with humiliating tasks in order to be set free, only to have their hopes dashed by faceless, sadistic agents of corporate autocracy.
The women in our office feel violated.

As a transwoman, I found Mr Donnelly attempt to mansplain to me and talk down to me and overwhelm me and make me feel inferior. Barry is an example of toxic masculinity and something that we need to fight everyday.
One of us is a transwoman who are already facing daily oppression and she is deeply hurt by your treatment of us.
As a result they do not feel comfortable dealing with your compliance staff.
You have also taken money, part of which was earmarked for donation to an LGBTQ+ charity.
Do you demand that we furnish their details to you so that you can intimidate them as well?
Please, re-instate our account immediately so we can obtain our money. We will NEVER use Paypal afterwards.
