I also started using pass when migrating. I've been nothing but happy with it. It's fast, easy to host either at home, or through Bitbucket or Github, and has clients (which IMO could all be better) for just about everything i need.

I wish the iOS app would support tombs/vaults though. https://github.com/roddhjav/pass-tomb#readme

It's only standard according to its website though.

As an aside - pass was made by Jason Donenfeld, the same guy that created Wireguard.

pass is amazing, as it makes synchronization incredibly easy in comparison to keepass. It even has a decent Android app. My biggest issue is that using it isn't nearly as convenient on Windows as on Linux, although WSL makes it quite simple.

I have 250+ passwords in pass and it hasn't failed yet. Been using it for years. It's the only password tool I would consider using.

It also happens to be great at storing any amount of sensitive text (API keys, etc.).
