I suppose Rob Pike has a R in it, but the R in K&R usually refers to Dennis Ritchie. This should probably be K&P.

K&P usually refers to Kernighan and Plauger's Software Tools, or The Elements of Programming Style.

For the book Kernighan and Pike wrote, The Practice of Programming, the canonical abbreviation is TPOP.
