There are several BSDs that it is worth looking at, beyond looking at only one. TrueOS, DragonFly BSD, MirOS BSD, GhostBSD, MidnightBSD, NetBSD, FreeBSD.

I hadn't heard of GhostBSD. I'll have to set up a test system for that, too. Thanks!
