What useful Python tools have you developed for image data as a data engineer?

I help with some data engineering efforts. One of my osten occuring tasks is to help prepare image data (typically millions) for training deep neural networks. I wish to know if there are useful tools if anyone has authored in python, whether in-house or open-source that has benefited your organisation. Thanks.
