Ask HN: Ozone food sterilizer

Hi, recently I've heard about ozone food sterilizer. I'm quite skeptical about it since ozone is toxic for people. Do you know any scientific research regarding influence of that technology on food as well as on human's body (direct of using sterilizer and eating sterilized food)?
