@mods: Please remove "GitHub" from the title (probably replace it by "Mesibo"). The title implies that this is a messenger by GitHub, which is not the case.

I agree. I assumed GitHub had released a messenger of their own when I read the title.

Why? What? And what's the name?

http://mesibo.com

Quote from the FAQ: With Mesibo, you can quickly add real-time messaging, voice and video calling (like whatsapp) in your own app in no time.

It's mainly a chat BaaS, and you can develop your own UI on top of their libraries.

this would be a better link for HN https://mesibo.com/documentation/get-started/

What about iOS?

The submitted link and title are all sorts of a mess, but there is also a repository for the iOS app: https://github.com/mesibo/messenger-app-ios

I would like to see iOS version
