Ask HN: Is HN comment section useful for logical/argumentative book writing?
Sometimes I feel that essays on various topic (LessWrong type of essays) are liniar train of thought that hindrance conclusion reaching.
I always found the comments the most helpful/interesting and most rational. So is hacker news successful in being a great community because of the CMS or not? Could this be used for better arguing (Since it is built in a LISP dialect)? Or be used to write a book? (Like meaningness.com - but with HN type of comments)
