His policies and the people he surrounds himself with have made his disdain for legal immigrants clear.

Stephen Miller wants to reduce all immigration, not just the illegal kind.

See this strikes me as very representative of the whole misunderstanding surrounding his policies (whether intentional or not). You seem to conflate his intention of reducing the influx of immigrants with some kind of intrinsic xenophopbia that's often cited by the media to trigger an emotional response. I'm a legal immigrant myself, and yet I share his stringent viewpoint -- given all the effort, multiple tests and exams, interviews, references etc. I had to go through to earn my visa, I more than support a merit based system instead of conveniently ascribing (hell, projecting?) "disdain" to his administration. Mind you I support the same policies for my home country as well, which suffers from the same issues.

Like the immigrants he married and fathered children with?

>Stephen Miller wants to reduce all immigration, not just the illegal kind.

Why is this problematic?
