Ask HN: I need to read/write data to a wiki from a JavaScript app

I need a cheap wiki hosted in could that anyone can edit, and I need to read/write data from it with a JS app.

What are my options?

I want to make this visualization dynamic with people curating actual metadata: https://uk.wikibudgets.org/w/united-kingdom-budget-2015
