Open-source and crowd-sourced book listing

Strongly agree with the high rating for Designing Data Intensive Applications. It's a fantastic book that covers most of the important principles in architecture.

I wish this website had more filters. I'd like to filter out books with fewer than 10 reviews. As it is right now, it's a bit noisy.

I am a bit sad that you slap your own Amazon affiliate tag on the outgoing links. Crowd-sourcing for your own monetary benefit is quite meh in my book.

Please consider following a model like https://www.bookzilla.de/ who forward 100% of their affiliate income to the Free Software Foundation. Maybe you could donate to the many FOSS projects your site builds upon?

Why is there an NLP book on the list (on page 5)? And no not natural language processing but neuro-linguistic programming.

I read a bit about NLP on the train a couple of years ago, did some research and came away with the verdict "pseudoscience". Would be interested to hear why it is considered relevant for developers/what I'm missing.

Also I see a few OOP books, all of them great, but I think my favorite to this day is still "Object-Oriented Software Construction" which is not on the list :)

Effective Java is somehow rated higher than Clean Code.
