Is there some donation system for open source projects?

People are talking about the Brave browser feature to donate to your favorite youtubers.

Does anyone know if there is something similar to donate to your favorites open source projects?

It would be nice to have something implemented inside GitHub to do this, with options to automatically pay every month.
