The DEL key wasn't handled in rename prompt. The fix is available on master branch.

Just noticed you mentioned 2.1 and Homebrew installed 2.0. That is probably why I am not seeing it.

It's not available in 2.1 either. Last night a user reported this after release of 2.1. :)
