I don't know about the user groups, but instead of outright shutting down because it couldn't be what it wanted to be, it should investigate and become what the users want it to be, if it is an amateur porn platform, so be it.

It can do it while prohibiting child pornography. In general, Tumblr is pretty bad at its product, maybe it's a yahoo thing.
