Ask HN: Is anybody eating GoPRO's lunch right now?

Or is the company just simply dying off for whatever reason?

Their Google trends and product offerings seem to be dwindling... but perhaps that's just a function of their phenomenal early success?

I'm looking to buy the best value time lapse camera and since most of the pros on youtube were using GoPROs I thought I would ask around HN.
