But if this is true it means Linkedin does make an incredible effort in curating my feed. Actually I haven't seen any political content there and am usually feeling hesitant before posting political stuff - exactly beause I know the algorithm either demotes it or that even those that agree would never share or like these posts (it's Linkedin after all - your employer, prospective employer, client, or prospective client, has an eye on you - or so you think - hence self censorship - but that's a different topic).
The biggest trick of LinkedIn is getting you to think it's a social network, but look at where their revenues come from: it's a recruiting platform. The tooling is one of a kind for replacing bloated HR processes)
If there is a story it's about the non-transparent LinkedIn algorithms IMO
Facebook and Google have been in scrutiny for a long time over how their algorithms work. Oddly LinkedIn managed to stay out of most the discussions when it comes to ethics. Why?
It boggles my mind that someone would post this on LinkedIn. Why would you share this on a site where the target audience is potential employers and professional connections? I get that people have strong political opinions, but this just shows terrible judgement.
