I just watched Day After Tomorrow again. All of a sudden, it's science doesn't seem nearly as far-fetched.

Anybody here have thoughts re why more isn't done about this? I'm thinking a combination between: 1) The general population doesn't want to hear about it so the media doesn't care so it does not create movies/books/shows about it 2) Selfish individualism over societal interests 3) Too much money invested in destroying the earth through the major resource industries.

Terrifying.
