I'm trying to hire someone for this kind of role at the moment, and it's really confusing.

I need someone who can build a decent UI using Vue. I can do the tricky bits with Vuex and communicating with the server, but I do need them to be get the visual design parts of the thing, and the quite complex and advanced JS coding needed to make it happen. Am I looking for a designer or a developer?

I can understand how this blurs out to needing to understand MongoDB and functional programming. It's a tough line to draw.
