Ask HN: VPS provider in Novosibirsk with fast ping to Japan?

Basically our server needs low latency to both London and Tokyo. I have been told RETN has some fiber that will go over Asia and there is at least one physical cable.

We don't need a lot of compute. I am wondering if there is a VPS provider in Siberia that would be hooked into this RETN or another overland fiber such that packets would take the more direct route to Japan. The one VPS provider I have tried is sending through data through Europe which is the wrong way.

Or if necessary would it be adequate to colocate in a RETN PoP in Novosibirsk?

Someone said we need to build our own network involving BGP routers or something. Seems unlikely to me that everyone that wants to avoid unnecessary planetary traversal from Russia to Japan is building their own network.
