It’s a cycle. Facebook has been doing nasty shit and apologizing for it since 2003. I’m starting to think they aren’t actually sorry.

It is probably still the mantra for people who work there, as corporate culture is slow to change, but Zuck changed it in 2014 to "Move Fast With Stable Infra"[1].

Pretty much no one is actually sorry. They're just sorry the underestimated the negative response.

They are abjectly, truly remorseful and sorry that they got caught.

I thought that was Putin's motto.

Once or if it impacts them enough personally then they'll be sorry, however that's the problem with rewarding people relatively blindly.
