The index used to be a lot more useful, but last fall Yahoo finally retired the Lisp version of Y Store and I had to switch to the C++ version. It was not quite a straight port; there were a small number of design changes (all for the worse). One is that site indexes are now chopped up into a large number of very short pages, which is worse for SEO and human readers alike.
