The machine described isn't really a "slot" machine in any traditional sense of the word and you wouldn't find one in a casino. It's a pub quiz machine.

"Draconian" it may be, but I think I'd rather get caught cheating at gambling in the UK than in the US, for example.

The game was recently retired from machines and I left the game ROM out. Fun as a challenge though!

I would guess the odds of the machine are set up in such a way that it’s still not profitable to do this.

Never mind. Had assumed this was a bonus game on a slot, it’s actually the whole thing. Neat.
